Chalet Hours

​Chalet and Rentals are open 11am to 3pm weekdays (no rentals after 2pm) and 11am to 4pm(no rentals after 2:30pm) weekends. Since our chalet is managed by volunteers, it may happen that there is no one available on some days. You can call 705-337-1045 to check that it's open

Thank you Volunteers!

Kap Nordic Skiers held their volunteer appreciation June 8.  Thank you to everyone involved in the organization and a special thank you to Trevor and Sylvie Russell as well as Natasha for not only the donation of the supper but also their time in the preparation and the excellent service.  It was truly appreciated by all.

​We NOw have our new groomer!!

Great Day! Today we re received our new groomer.  Thanks to NOHFC, La Caisse Alliance and the community for all of support. Thanks also to Murray OK Tire and Le Conseil des Chevaliers de Colomb for helping with the cost of delivery.  With this new groomer, we can continue to offer great winter recreation to the region. Thank you all for allowing this project to happen.

Nous sommes heureux d’annoncer que La société du Fonds du patrimoine du Nord de l’Ontario (SGNFPNO) a approuvé notre projet de remplacement de dameuse en nous accordant un montant de $250,430.00 qui sera versé envers l’achat d’un modèle neuf et que la Caisse Alliance de Kapuskasing nous a fait le généreux don de $25,500.00  Ces généreuses contributions aideront grandement à défrayer le coût.  Nous pourrons ainsi continuer d’offrir des sentiers de qualité et sécuritaire tout en assurant que Kap Nordic Skiers demeure un organisme récréatif important qui regroupe les gens pour la santé physique et mentale de la communauté
We are very happy to announce that Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) has approved our project for the replacement of our aging groomer and has granted us $250,430.00 towards the replacement of a new model and that Caisse Alliance Kapuskasing made a generous donation of $25,500.00 These generous contributions will greatly help in offsetting the cost and thus continue to enable us to offer quality and safe trails while ensuring that Kap Nordic Skiers remains an important recreational organization that brings people of the community together for the benefit of physical and mental health.

To get to our chalet,  take Brunetville road to the Ash street intersection. Turn at the lights on Ash Street and drive for 1.9km.  Kap Nordic Skiers is located at the end of Ash Street.
